章杰教授于2025年加入香港中文大学（深圳），目前担任医学院助理教授（临床）。他于2004年在安徽理工大学获得临床医学学士学位，分别于2008年和2013年在汕头大学获得医学硕士学位（精神病与精神卫生学）和医学博士学位（影像医学与核医学）。之后，他在英国伦敦国王学院完成了免疫精神病学的博士后训练。

章教授先后在汕头大学精神卫生中心、广东省中山市第三人民医院、安徽省淮南市第四人民医院从事成人和青少年精神心理障碍的临床和研究工作。目前担任Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Mental Health期刊副主编。

章教授的研究兴趣主要聚焦于青少年抑郁障碍、炎症生物标志物及精准干预策略，主持或参与包括国家自然科学基金、广东省自然科学基金项目、广东省医学科研基金立项项目、中山市社会公益与基础研究项目等多项市/厅和省级以上科研项目，在Molecular Psychiatry、Brain, Behavior, and Immunity等高影响力专业期刊发表研究成果。

章杰教授致力于医学教育和转化精神病学研究，并积极将新技术或研究成果应用于医学教育和临床实践。
