徐俊勤教授于2015年获英国圣安德鲁斯大学（荣誉）医学学士学位，2018年获英国爱丁堡大学全科医学学士学位（MBChB）。随后于加拿大卡尔加里大学完成内科（IM）住院医师培训及普通内科（GIM）专科培训。其专业能力获得美国内科学委员会（ABIM）认证。

徐俊勤教授致力于推进医学教育，将床旁即时超声（POCUS）和机器人技术等创新技术融入教学培训项目。他作为床旁超声早期临床接触的倡导者，积极研究新颖的教学方法以提升学术和临床环境中的学习效果。并致力于为医学生提供超声波技术的实践应用训练，以期他们能够在医疗实践中充分应用这项定义未来医学标准的技术。
