Biography

Dr. GUO Jinghui obtained her PhD in Physiology from Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2013, and continued three years postdoc training in CUHK. Since 2016, She joined Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, Jinan University in Guangzhou as Associate Professor. She has became an Assistant Professor in Faculty of Medicine, CUHK-Shenzhen since  2023. Her research interest mainly focuses on function of ion channels in reproductive and endocrine system and interdisciplinary study of modulation of ion channels with ultrasound and light and their application in neuromodulation and diabetic therapy. Dr Guo has been funded by two NFSC and four provincial grants. She has published 37 research articles, of which first, co-first or corresponding author papers include Nature Medicine, Nature Communications, EMBO Molecular Medicine, Advanced Science, Cell reports, iScience, Endocrinology, BBA-Molecular Basis of Disease et al. The total citation of these articles reaches more than 1100, and her H-index in Google Scholar is 18.
