YANG, Zhou
Assistant Professor (Teaching)
Ph.D. in Life Science (HKUST)
B.S. in Biology (HKUST)
Dr. Zhou Yang joined The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen in 2020. He obtained both his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Ph.D. degree in Life Science from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2011 and 2019, respectively. From biochemical and structural angles, Dr. Yang researches on the functional and structural study of proteins which participate in the regulation process of cell growth control, cell polarity establishment and neuronal synapse formation, by focusing on the proteins containing FERM domain and tandem WW domain in the tumor related Hippo signaling pathway.
