Biography

Prof. Pan Wang graduated from Tsinghua University in Beijing with a bachelor degree in Biological Sciences in 2005. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in Pharmacology from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in the U.S. in 2010.  She joined The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen in August, 2019.

Professor Wang's main research interest is to study the pharmacology of steroid hormones and natural products as well as toxicology of environmental compounds in endocrine and reproductive systems using a variety of approaches, such as molecular modeling, biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, experimental animals, etc. She is also interested in drug metabolism and mechanisms of liver diseases. Professor Wang has published more than 70 scientific papers in the world's leading pharmacology/toxicology journals.
