Biography

Dr. Xie Sicong graduated with a Bachelor of Clinical Medicine from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2015. In 2018, she completed her Standardized Residency Training in Internal Medicine in Shanghai Zhongshan Hospital and obtained her master degree of Internal Medicine from Fudan University. In 2021, she finished the Family Medicine Fellowship training in Guangzhou United Family Hospital, passed the American Board of Family Medicine examination, and obtained Certificate of Completion from the Sydney Child Health Program. During her undergraduate education and Family Medicine Fellowship training, Dr. Xie also rotated in various departments of the affiliated hospitals of Baylor College of Medicine and Yale School of Medicine. She is familiar with both Chinese and international standards for General Practice (GP), and in the diagnosis and treatment of common diseases of adult and pediatric patients. Subsequently, she worked in the affiliated community healthcare centers of the People's Hospital of Bao'an District in Shenzhen, responsible for GP outpatient clinic, child health care, elderly health, and chronic disease management. As a member of the Supervising Panel of Child Health Care in Bao’an District and a part-time professor of Shenzhen Health Capacity Building and Continuing Education Center, she actively participated in improving the quality of child primary health care services and in GP training. In January 2025, she joined the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). Her current research interests are Clinical Education of GP and Lifestyle Medicine.

Academic Publications

1.Participated in the compilation of The Standardized Clinical Pathway of General Practice, one of the recommended textbooks of General Practice Residency Program and General Medicine Vocational Training in Shenzhen.
