Adjunct Assistant Professor Yu Xuetao graduated from the Shantou University Medical college in 1996 and worked in the First Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical college after graduation. He obtained his Master degree of Pathology and Pathophysiology from Shantou University in 2006. He got 6-month clinical training in ICU department of Beijing China-Japan Friendship Hospital and that of Prince of Wales Hospital of HongKong in 1999 and 2010 respectively. He has hosted all the matters of the ICU department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University  Medical college from 2005 to 2011. After that, Adjunct Assistant Professor Yu joined the Longgang District People’s Hospital of Shenzhen in 2011 and serve as the director of the ICU from 2017. He completed the training course of QSIL(Quality, Safe, Informatics and Leadership) program held by Shenzhen-Havard Medical School. Dr. Yu xuetao dedicate the clinical practice and research of critical care medicine.
Now Adjunct Assistant Professor Yu also serve as a member of the Critical Care Medicine Committee of Guangdong Medical Association and that of Critical Care Physicians Branch of Guangdong Physician Association. He also serve as the Vice President of the Critical Care Physicians Branch of the Shenzhen Physician Association. In 2023, Adjunct Assistant Professor Yu sucessfully performed the BASIC course that for the Critical care physicians standard training and received authorization of the BASIC course training Center in 2024.
Adjunct Assistant Professor Yu got the honorary titles  of “Shenzhen Physician Award”, “Shenzhen Excellent Physician” ,”Outstanding Communist Party member of Shenzhen” and “Dreams and Power "Touching Longgang Top Ten Persons” in recent years.
