Professor Wenchu Lin graduated from Sichuan University in 1996 and obtained his master’s degree from Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He then received his doctorate from University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston & MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2006. Before joining High Magnetic Field Laboratory of Chinese Academy of Sciences as a principal investigator in Dec, 2012, he conducted postdoctoral researches at M D Anderson Cancer Center and Harvard Medical School & Dana-Farber Cancer institute from 2006 to 2012 and worked as a research scientist II at Harvard Medical School & Dana-Farber Cancer institute in 2012 after the completion of his postdoc training. He joined The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen in 2023.
Dr. Wenchu Lin has been engaging in cancer research for 23 years with special focus on the molecular mechanisms involved in cancer progression and metastasis and roles of epigenetic regulators in cancers. Dr. Wenchu Lin has published more than 61 papers in internationally renowned academic journals, including Cell, PNAS, Molecular Cancer, Cancer discovery, Journal of Pathology, Matter, ACS Nano, etc. The published papers have been cited more than 2400 times.
