Prof. Zhuang Jian received a doctorate from the Guangdong Cardiovascular Institute in 2000. He used to be the Director of Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital, director of Cardiovascular Surgery. Now he is Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Cardio-vascular Disease Research and Training in China, Director of Guangdong Cardiovascular Disease Center, Director of Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of South China Structural Heart Disease, Chief expert of cardiovascular surgery in Guangdong General Hospital, Tenured professor, Chief physician, Doctoral supervisor and post-doctoral cooperation tutor. His research interests include the analysis and application of big medical data, artificial intelligence assisted cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment, cardiovascular surgery (congenital heart disease) and other fields.
