Biography

Prof. Tsui completed his medical training at the University of St Andrews (UK), earning an intercalated BSc (Hons) in Medicine in 2015, followed by an MBChB from the University of Edinburgh (UK) in 2018. He further pursued postgraduate training at the University of Calgary (Canada), where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine (IM) and subspecialized in General Internal Medicine (GIM). His expertise is recognized through board certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).

Dedicated to advancing medical education, Prof. Tsui incorporates innovative technologies such as point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and robotics into training programs. He advocates early clinical exposure to bedside ultrasound and investigates novel pedagogical methods to enhance learning in both academic and clinical settings. He believes that to train future doctors, we must equip today’s learners with tomorrow’s tools—because they will define the standard of care in the future.
