Biography

Prof. B. T. Zhu received his medical degrees (M.B. & M.S.) from Fudan University Medical College (1985, 1988), Ph.D. in pharmacology from University of Texas (1992), and postdoctoral fellowship from Rutgers University (1996). Afterwards he has worked as a faculty member at Rutgers University, University of South Carolina, and University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC). Before he returned to work in China, Prof. Zhu was the William W. Abercrombie Distinguished Professor in Cancer Research at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Currently, he serves as Presidential Chair Professor and Associate Dean for Graduate Affairs at the School of Medicine. Prof. Zhu has published over 150 peer-reviewed publications. Over the years, Prof. Zhu has received a number of research awards.
