On the morning of August 29, the Inauguration Ceremony 2025 of School of Medicine, CUHK Shenzhen, was held at the Shaw International Conference Centre. Nobel laureates, University leaders, School faculty, students and parents gathered together to witness the new cohort of students stepping into a new stage of their lives. The ceremony proceeded in a solemn and orderly manner with brilliant speeches, injecting strong momentum into the new students' journey of growth.

Postgraduate Programme Welcome Orientation

On the afternoon of 30 August, the School of Medicine held its 2025 autumn postgraduate programme welcome orientation, drawing nearly a hundred new graduate students. Prof. Richard YE, Associate Dean (Postgraduate Studies), Prof. Hsien-Da HUANG, Associate Dean (Admissions & Student Affairs), Prof. CHEN Gang, Programme Coordinator of MPhil-PhD Programme in Biological Sciences, and Prof. WANG Guanyu and Prof. YANG Zhou, representatives of the Biomedical Engineering programme, attended the event. Together with two outstanding senior graduate students, the faculty members gave the newcomers a comprehensive overview of the School’s graduate offerings, offering detailed guidance on programme structure, curriculum design and student development.
