On the occasion of the 10^th anniversary of the establishment of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, School of MEDICINE organized ‘Dreams Fly from New Beginning’ Flash Mob Hiking activity on March 31^st to celebrate the 10th anniversary of CUHK-Shenzhen and the 3^rd anniversary of School of MEDICINE.

Prof. Davy CHENG, Founding Dean of School of MEDICINE, Prof. Michael Tam, Associate Dean (Education), Prof. Bao-Ting ZHU, Associate Dean (Postgraduate Affairs), Prof. HUANG Hsien-Da, Associate Dean (Student Affairs), and nearly 300 MED professors, undergraduate, and postgraduates gathered in the beautiful university campus. In addition, Ms. WANG Shaojuan, Party Secretary of The Second Affiliated Hospital of CUHK-Shenzhen, and more than 40 colleagues from the hospital, were invited to participate in this activity to capture this memorable moment.

The hiking route started from University’s Administration Building, passing through the Ling Daoyang Memorial Garden and Fairy Ridge, and finally arriving at the Fairy Lake, where the future site of the new campus of School of MEDICCINE. 

The Administration Building stands as the central architectural landmark of the university campus, bearing witness to the illustrious history of CUHK-Shenzhen. Fairy Lake, located in the iconic area of the new campus, not only embodies the natural beauty and complements the new campus of School of MEDICINE, which is already under construction, but also symbolizes the journey of CUHK-Shenzhen and School of MEDICINE into the next decade together.
