The Opening Ceremony and Orientation for the Clinical Rotations
The Opening Ceremony and Orientation for the Clinical Rotations of 2021 cohort Clinical Students (year 3 students) was held at Peking University Shenzhen Hospital on 16th November. The 30 students will be divided into 4 groups to complete their 6-month junior clerkship in medicine and surgery at Peking University Shenzhen Hospital from 21st November 2023 to June 2024.
The orientation provided the framework, rules and requirements of the rotation, as well as detailed training and induction, including the hospital's core medical system, basic knowledge of nosocomial infections, medical quality information management, clinical skills simulation training centre, etc.

After the ceremony, the students visited the four departments where they will begin their rotations on 21st November: Cardiology, Respiratory Medicine, Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Surgery, Breast & Thyroid Surgery. They also familiarized themselves with the learning and living environment by visiting the outpatient building, the administrative complex, etc.
